Advanced Graph Patterns
A list of advanced CIDOC CRM graph patterns
This page lists some advanced graph patterns that we encounter when modelling data in LINCS using the CIDOC CRM ontology. This are more difficult to use compared to basic graph patterns, but offer a more detailed and comprehensive modelling.
Patterns Involving People
Identity (Gender, Ethnicity, Religion, …)
A person has a certain identity. In LINCS, identities are always attributed by someone using the attribute assignment pattern.
Patterns Involving Places
The following patterns are applicable to any event or its subclasses colored in blue, such as Activity (including occupations), Birth, Death, Production, Move, etc.
Presence
A presence is used to model the extent in space and time of a certain phenomenon, such as the location of an object over time, the spatiotemporal extent of an event, etc.
Presence Coordinates
A presence may be associated to geographic coordinates.
Presence Relations
A presence can also be related to another presence (in multiple ways) or to an event.
